Rajapaksa Family’ member has $1.064 billion in National Bank of Dubai

Cabinet spokesman Dr. Rajitha Senaratne said they had discovered three accounts in the National Bank of Dubai. Of these one individual has 1.064 billion dollars” and he is a family member,” he said.
He said; “Rupees one billion is nothing for them and that is pocket money”.
“Another Member of Parliament has over 500 million US dollars and another Secretary who is a very important person has another 500 million US dollars with another person. It is a joint account and the partner is very famous for corruption”.
The Minister also said that 600 million dollars have been withdrawn from the 1.064 billion dollars account after the election. Another 200 million dollars have been withdrawn by one of the main brokers who brought all these deals to the previous government.
